By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Anomalous Phenomena is an educational, evidence-first platform that allows users to explore, document, organize, and analyze unusual observations. The App is designed to surface patterns and contextual information using user-submitted data and public datasets.

The App does not verify events, identify objects, or make determinations about authenticity, origin, or cause.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms.

Some features require creating an account. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

The App may allow browsing without an account; however, submitting reports, creating cases, and enabling alerts require authentication.

You may submit text, photos, videos, notes, and other content ("User Content") when using the App. You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant Anomalous Phenomena a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and distribute the content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

For each submitted observation, you may choose whether it is:

• Public
  May be visible to other users
   
• Anonymous
  Hides identifying account information
   
• Private
  Visible only to you
   

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or intentionally deceptive content
   
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
   
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing
   
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the App
   
• Use the App for surveillance, enforcement, or investigative purposes outside its intended educational scope
   

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access for violations of these Terms.

The App may include AI-assisted tools that provide summaries, similarity matches, or organizational insights.

• AI output is informational and probabilistic only
   
• AI does not provide conclusions, verification, or identification
   
• AI output should not be relied upon as factual determination
   

Use of AI features is optional and subject to availability.

The App may offer optional alerts and notifications based on your preferences, such as proximity to reported activity or similarity to content you follow.

Alerts are informational and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. You can modify or disable alerts at any time through the App or your device settings.

The App may offer optional paid subscriptions that unlock advanced tools and features.

Subscriptions:

• Renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
   
• Are charged to your Apple ID account
   
• Can be managed in your Apple ID settings
   

Free features remain available without a subscription.

All App software, design, trademarks, and non-user content are owned by Anomalous Phenomena or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without permission.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no warranties regarding:

• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
   
• Availability or uninterrupted operation
   
• Fitness for a particular purpose
   

Use of the App is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anomalous Phenomena shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or content.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons. You may stop using the App at any time.

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be effective when posted, as indicated by the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Anomalous Phenomena operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
