End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Anomalous Phenomena ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Anomalous Phenomena mobile application and related services.

• Limited license for personal, non-commercial use only
   
• You retain ownership of your submitted content
   
• AI features are informational only, not verification
   
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled 24 hours before
   
• App provided 'as is' without warranties
   

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Anomalous Phenomena grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with Apple's App Store terms.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Anomalous Phenomena.

The App is an educational and organizational tool designed to allow users to explore, document, organize, and analyze unusual observations using user-submitted data and public information sources.

The App:

• Does not verify events
   
• Does not identify objects
   
• Does not make determinations about authenticity, origin, or cause
   
• Does not provide professional, scientific, aviation, or security advice
   

Any analysis, summaries, similarity matches, or contextual information provided by the App are informational and probabilistic only. You agree not to rely on the App for safety-critical, navigational, investigative, enforcement, or decision-making purposes.

You may submit content such as text, photos, videos, notes, and case materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Anomalous Phenomena a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and distribute the content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

You are responsible for ensuring that any User Content you submit:

• Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
   
• Does not violate laws or third-party rights
   
• Does not contain malicious, deceptive, or abusive material
   

You may choose whether submitted observations are:

• Public
   
• Anonymous
   
• Private
   

The App may request access to certain device features only when you choose to use them:

• Camera
  to capture photos or videos when submitting an observation
   
• Photo Library
  to select existing media you choose to upload
   
• Microphone
  to record audio when capturing video
   
• Location (When In Use)
  to prefill observation location, show your position on the map, calculate distances to sightings or clusters, and support optional proximity-based alerts
   

You can use the App without granting all permissions, though some features may be unavailable. You may change or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.

The App may use AI-assisted tools to generate educational summaries, similarity matches, or organizational insights.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI output is informational only
   
• AI output is not a statement of fact or verification
   
• AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable
   
• You remain responsible for how you interpret and use any AI-assisted output
   

Media or data is submitted for AI processing only when you explicitly choose to use features that involve such processing.

The App may offer optional subscriptions that unlock additional tools or features.

Subscriptions:

• Are billed through your Apple ID account
   
• Renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period
   
• Can be managed or canceled through your Apple ID settings
   

Free features remain available without a subscription.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
   
• Circumvent security or access controls
   
• Use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes
   
• Attempt to extract or scrape data beyond normal App functionality
   

All software, code, design elements, trademarks, and non-user content in the App are owned by Anomalous Phenomena or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights in the App or its content.

This Agreement is effective until terminated.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate this Agreement or for operational reasons. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anomalous Phenomena shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Anomalous Phenomena operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
